Niagara Falls: Tesla & Blondin Meet Taylor & Fladgate, 2022

In the words of Steve Jobs, "Packaging can be theater, it can create a story".
The stage and story for this assemblage was created from an open wooden box
that handsomely housed a fine bottle of Taylor Fladgate port. Too intriguing to dispose of
or destroy, the box frame became the catalyst for the set of a conceptual meeting of Msrs. Blondin,
Tesla, Taylor and Fladgate. And where better to stage such a meeting than the location of
historical and theatrical folly, Niagara Falls.
Niagara Falls: Tesla & Blondin Meet Taylor & Fladgate, is my sixth assemblage thematically inspired
by Niagara Falls.




Construction Information
(9.75 x 9 x 4")

Interior:
White acrylic painted balsa wood framework, wall paper,
and book cover material.
Stones, Brass Framed Square curved glass, Niagara Falls Medallion
Taylor Fadgate bottle stopper, brass rail and chain.
Collage Interior walls are varnished ink jet photoshop images.
12 Volt DC powered LED light.

Exterior:
1/2” Plywood box frame painted book cover paper
with 1/2” painted book cover paper frame and glass secured by
ten brass screws.
