Map Room
Map Room, Western New York Edition, 2022
Before States were red or blue, early cartographers like Andreas Cellarius worked
with color to define the geography of the world. Later on, pleasing pastels filled in
counties, states and countries in early atlases.
Inspired by the mystique of these simply illustrated maps through the magnification
of glass mounted lenses and their suggested romance of travel, Map Room presents
an interactive, detailed look at a part of the world prevalent to my youth.
