Blue Virgins is the second assemblage inspired by a lithographic engraving from 1853,
by B.H. Baker of Musudora, sculpted by R.J. Wyatt (ca. 1840) that I discovered in
The Seasons, by 18th-century poet James Thomson, included in one of the books
of the poem, Summer.
