Beyond The Blue Peninsula #3, 2022
Homage to Joseph Cornell

This assemblage, the third in a suite of three, was created in homage to the
work of Joseph Cornell and the influence that he has
had on my work to date. Cornell took inspiration from
music, dance, poetry and found objects to create a
world within the theatre of his mind. One needs only
peer into this world to step on stage.

Interior:
Plaster walls, Painted Wire Mesh,
Balsa Wood, Photo Filter Gels,
Metal Keyhole, Camel Cigarette packages,
Camel glass ash tray. Brass escutcheons
Boresilicate Glass Rods, Glass Marbles,
Watch crystals, and inkjet maps.

Exterior:
1/2” Poplar Painted and Varnished.
7/8 “ Painted Ash Frame.
10 Metal Screws.
