Homage to Joseph Cornell

This assemblage, the second in a suite of three, was created in homage to the
work of Joseph Cornell and the influence that he has
had on my work to date. Cornell took inspiration from
music, dance, poetry and found objects to create a
world within the theatre of his mind. One needs only
peer into this world to step on stage.



Construction Information
(11.75 x 9.5 x 2.75")

Interior:
Plaster walls, Painted Wire Mesh,
Balsa Wood, Photo Filter Gels,
Metal Keyhole, Watch jewel, Perfume Bottles,
Boresilicate Glass Rods, Glass Marble,
and a Map.

Exterior:
1/2” Poplar Painted and Varnished.
7/8 “ Painted Ash Frame.
10 Metal Screws.
